25 Random Facts About Me - Blog Version

This little chain has been zipping around the blogging world and on Facebook, and since I've already done the list for the latter, I thought I'd post it here as well, with a few modifications.

Bonus Trivia: I really like dogs, though as I child I was deathly afraid of them.
1. I really love the phrase and the practice of "sticking it to the man." I cite this for my reason of many activities (i.e. growing a bushy red beard).

2. I fear that people will like me for the stuff I do or the stuff I have and not who I actually am.

3. Female musicians are perhaps the most attractive thing in the world to me, and yet I don’t own a single album put out by a girl, except Norah Jones. And Dido has a way cool voice.

4. It really bothers me when things are misspelled in products or brochures – like if the company is competent enough to produce an iPod they should know to spell “shuffle” with two “f”s. However, I really like the way phrases translate from Chinese into English.

5. When I was in elementary school, I got beat up by Parker Layden once or twice a week. I never really fought back until he called me the “n” word. I didn’t know what it meant, but for some reason it really made me mad.

6. I don’t know why, but sometimes I get a weird feeling that I’m in a movie or a music video.

7. When I was in high school, I started a secret club which required you to go longboarding naked if you wanted to join.

8. I’ve kicked my best friend in the most sensitive part of his body two times. It was an accident one of the times.

9. I’m easily intimidated, especially by strangers, but I believe that nobody notices.

10. I pick my nose sometimes, also believing that nobody notices. My sisters nicknamed me "Boo" for this reason, which is short for "booger."

11. The most fun I’ve ever had making money is playing the piano for receptions and parties at the Hilton. I felt like i was in a movie. The least fun I’ve ever had making money is de-shingling my grandpa’s roof.

12. I wish that everybody would go to bed at 10:00 PM, because I love the mornings, but I don’t want to miss out on playing with my friends at night.

13. I don’t buy any clothes that I don’t like touching with my hands.

14. In elementary school, I was a compulsive liar, and once told my best friend that I went bungee jumping at the age of 9. My mom grounded me for two weeks, during which I beat the entire computer game entitled “the 3 Vikings.”

15. I have bad eyesight because I used to sit too close to the TV. I liked seeing the image separate into the individual colored bulbs when I put my face right up next to the screen.

16. I've been on the news twice, as part of the story (in other words, I was supposed to be in the shot).

17. My sisters are the most precious people to me in the whole wide world. They are not only gorgeous but also really talented and personable. I want to marry a girl like them… except not related to me.

18. I’m scared to drive at night. I once totaled my parents’ car by running a red light at 2 AM and I still have nightmares about it.

19. I don’t know how to impress a girl, but whenever my roommates ask my advice, I act like I know what I’m talking about.

20. My dad has an uncanny ability to fix and build cool stuff, and yet denies that he has a single hobby that he really enjoys. This bothers me.

21. I secretly believe that my mom was once a hippie. She denies it.

22. I refer to several people as my “best friend.” Truth be told, I can’t choose which one, and if given the choice between choosing a best friend and drinking turpentine, I’d probably pick the latter.

23. My heart rate goes up and I get short of breath when I’m talking about something I'd rather avoid.

24. I have a really hard time letting go of things that I really love. For example, I’ve never taken off my rings except to show them to other people or to switch fingers. I’ve also saved every note I’ve ever been written since 8th grade.

25. My big brother has been one of my heroes ever since I walked into his room at the age of 6 and he was listening to “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice. I thought they were singing “Bryce Bryce Baby” and that he was friends with celebrities. I eventually discovered the truth, but my opinion about him never changed.

I love how chain mail has found it's way even into the blogging world.

This just proves that you are SO awesome! Also, you had Stacee giggling like a schoolgirl at item number 10 and 25 (the most), but really through the whole thing. Also, I laughed, too.

You are the real deal. Kinda like homemade stew (which is even better than homemade soup!!)!!!

Spencer you are a crack up. I think we should hook you up with my little sister. she is 19 and is going to school to be a teacher(Like Em). She loves creative writing, which includes writing songs and poems. She has a wonderful singing voice that is unique. If you want a sneek peek at her go to her blog kristarollerskates.blogspot.com/
She's real cute, and good, and fun. She wants to transfer from SUU to UVU, which will be close to you. Let me know what you think and I'll get a hold of you next time she's around.
PS don't worry she's not hardly anything like me! *I don't think you mentioned wanting to find a girlfriend or anything, I just think it might be fun.
